I like them. They are an American product and have a lifetime warranty. I just put them on one of my few guns not sporting an optic.

Had one break on installation by a professional gunsmith. I don’t blame the gunsmith.
He said in his opinion Night Fision and XS were the worst night sight brands. I have had several XS sights fade out in a very short time, and given this and the above Night Fision breakage, I believe him. You get what you pay for. I have found Trijicon and Ameriglo much more satisfactory. |

I have only had one set of the Night Fision sights. They seemed as durable as the Trijicon, Ameriglo, Meprolight, XS, Dawson Precision, etc sights that I’ve owned and installed. I find some pistols have front dovetails that contribute to breakages by having front sights with relatively thin bases. The thickness of the front post also comes into play. Some sights do come sized much more closely to the dimensions of the dovetail and can require a lot of fitting.

I've purchased a few and installed myself. They work just fine.
The dirty secret in the industry is only a few companies are allowed to make the tritium vials and they sell to all the other companies. |

They are brighter than Sig X Ray sights.
As posted above, everyone else pays Night Fision when they make a sight since they own the tritium rights in the US. They seem to be as tough as any of the others I've used, plus they have a lifetime warranty. Most of the others have a 10 year warranty. Buy once and replace them free if they ever fade. |
