Box O' Truth?
Does anyone remember a YouTube channel called (if I remember correctly) the Box O' Truth? It was a site where a couple of guys set up a series of sheets of plywood or wallboard and shot various calibers of firearms at it to see how many layers the bullets would penetrate.
I just went on YouTube and tried searching for Box O' Truth, and all I came up with was some dude who had a very poor imitation of it, and very poor video of his efforts. Is the original still around?

Not a YouTube channel, but I found a web site that I think belongs to the guys who originated the Box O' Truth. But there aren't nearly as many articles as I thought I remembered about shooting various calibers through the Box O' Truth.
If anyone has played with this sort of setup, these guys report that a .22LR (Wildcats) out of a handgun will penetrate four 3/4" pine boards. I'm trying to get a handle on how many 3/4" pine boards and/or how many 3/4" plywood boards a .22 Magnum will penetrate and, going the other way, how many boards a .22 CB cap will penetrate/ Has anyone tried this?

I set up common interior building materials (this was sometime pre-2008) and shot with several calibers, everything penetrated everything, except some light birdshot at further distances, the bird shot bouncing back really stings the lips.
I don’t think I tested 22lr, I don’t have any other 22s

It was a website, don't ever remember seeing any youtube videos from them.

Thank you for bringing this up AB! Funny - I used to read that site regularly because it contained actual test data and not speculation.
The site Dfariswheel posted is correct, but poking around there I found the sitemap https://www.theboxotruth.com/threads/site-map.587/ which contains links to the 'original' articles. Thanks again.
