Triggers: pull length vs pull weight

I thought this was an interesting podcast.

https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas...=1000691937428

They spoke about experienced shooters under stress pressing the trigger unintentionally. Not usually to a point of discharge, but to a point of movement.

There was a lot of discussion about what makes a trigger safe. So, what makes a trigger safe to you? IME, I agree pull length helps a lot, but I hate DA/SA transitions. I’m also pretty well practiced on SA. So, I find SA with a thumb safety or decent striker with a thumb safety to be my go to. That said, I can handle a revolver or small medium trigger length gun like my cw380.
