My newest - Israeli HB FALO

Earlier this month I began fixating on an Israeli Heavy Barrel FAL (FALO) at a gun show in San Antonio. I made an offer, exchanged cash for gun and now it's mine! Imported (parts kit) by Pacific Armaments, built on an Imbel Gear Logo Receiver. Rumor has it that DSArms built the guns for Pacific. Barrel dates from 1969.

Pictures of course!

Thanks guys. At one time I had three FALs - an Israeli "Standard" barrel, a generic FAL, and a special, custom job - made with a DSArms 21' free floating barrel and a Weapons Art adjustable Butt Stock and Pistol Grip. It was made with a "Non - Gear Logo" Imbel Receiver. My first FAL (the source of the Imbel Receiver) was a Century L1A1 that someone was trying to turn it into a legit L1A1.

Here's the Israeli Standard Barrel FAL and the rest of the Israeli Family; its a Semi-Auto Uzi Model B with the dummy short barrel.

I ''found it" on a dealer's table at a Gun Show in the Silver Dome, Pontiac, MI around 2005. It was early Saturday Afternoon and I was trying to save a few dollars - the dealer said come back tomorrow afternoon and I'll give you the Sunday Afternoon Price. I said hey let's pretend it's Sunday Afternoon now - so it was only $475! I added the bipod.

Really cool FALs, I’m amazed at all the different versions of them. I’m not an expert and the only interaction I get is either mine, or when someone posts them on this forum.

Mine is rather generic in comparison.

I need to pull mine out and throw a couple rounds down range.
