Royal Tiger Imports

I just picked up a Jungle Carbine from RTI. Wondering what kind of experience you guys have had with them?

Got VZ61 stuff from them… leather stuff, magazines and a cleaning kit.

Shipped quick and was all in great condition. I’ve heard good/bad about the Ethiopian stuff, but can’t say I’ve had a negative experience with them.

Friends don't let friends buy from RTI.
Goat shed rifles are not worth it.

RTI also steals copyrighted images to advertise their rifles as better than what they actually have in stock. So keep that in mind about their business model.
(If you want a reference for stolen images, contact C&Rsenal. They have had to go after RTI more than once.)

Agree with FrankenMauser above. I was thick in the mil-surp market for a lot of years. All Royal Tiger ever had was high priced junkers.

Just go shoot it Pickle, then give us an after-action report. Your rifle may be just fine.

On Jungle Carbines in general- I owned two over the years, one as issued and another with a B Square mount and a 4X Bushnell on it. At the time you could still find 180 grain 303 hunting ammo from Winchester & Remington so that's what I shot in them. Neither was better than 2 1/2-3 MOA from a rest. I was in my 20s, bull stout and nearly recoil- proof. The JCs weren't any fun to shoot from a bench, despite their little recoil pads.
