Problem with Lee sizing die

I just got a new Lee die set for loading my Swedish 6.5 X 55 and the first case that I ran thru it came out with the neck so expanded that you can almost slip a 7.62 bullet into it.

The set and the die itself are clearly labeled 6.5 X 55 so I don't know what to thank. Has anyone seen a problem like this before?

Micrometer both. Measurements do not lie. Does a 6.5 bullet drop through the neck? If yes, something is very wrong.

Quite possible a 7.62 expander button got installed on the 6.5 stem by mistake ...
Take measurements and email or call Lee and report problem ... they will probably send you correct expander button at no charge ... also check you rod , make sure it insn't bent or damaged while you are checking things .

Call LEE and they will send you a replacement expander.

What a coincidence. I also got a Lee set for the same caliber. No problem. I polished the upper side of the expander ball to make the expansion action smooth without lube.
