Losing my groove
I was very pleased to receive some 200 gr SWC -groove less bullets in .452 Dia within 5 days of ordering. They are basically a H&G 68 profile, except no groove. I've had good success with a similar, grooved bullet froM the same manufacturer for my 625s. Any input whetherv the velocity should be higher or lower?

Are these plated bullets, coated, waxed - what? It’s difficult to give an informed answer without knowing more…

These are Hi-Tek coated, non-grooved, SWC. My typical load is 4.2 grs of Bullseye, Federal LPP, seated to a COAL of 1.250", taper crimp, and fired out of a 5", 4", or 3" N-frame.

Treat them like a regular cast bullet. I have heard they can be pushed 100-200 fps faster, but in my experience with hi-tek bullets that made a mess in my barrel, coating came off and was a royal aim to clean. 125g 9mm brazos at 1200fps. They do fine at about 1000fps for me.
