What is this thing
This old revolver came in and as far as I can tell it looks like a webley pocket. But Webley isn't stamped anywhere on it. Any help is appreciated. The customer wants to sell it.

It's a hacked up Enfield #2 revolver. Somebody chopped the barrel.

Webley. Not Enfield. Most likely a .38 S&W. Might be an Indian copy too though.

I see some markings in the pictures. The 1st pictures has marks from when it was exported. The BNP is clearly visible.

Buggered up screw heads from common flat tip drivers, given it's history/age and travels. But these days we as collectors/accumulators should have a set of hollow ground drivers on hand, some call them machinist screw drivers. You should be able to clean them up with carefully with some swiss files.
