270 reloads

My friend is having trouble with some of his reloads. These have all been full length resized and overall length is within sammi specs. Sometime probably 50%. After firing a round it gets stuck in the chamber and is a real bear to get the bolt back and eject the round. Any ideas what could be causing this?

If you are not trolling us, there is just one word -----STOP!!!!!!!

All signs point to over-pressure and if all you say is true pull the rounds apart now, confirm powder and throw weight. Re-weigh bullets --is the recipe correct for the weight?

If the rifle shoots factory ammo OK then it is all his reloads and you need to help him before he destroys his gun and injures either himself or others.

He has stopped and will not use those reloads again, I am going to pull the bullets and weigh the powder charge and try to figure out what went wrong.

NHShOOTER an tell that when he pulls the bullet.

By the way, I just go the Hornady Lever Version Collet type, I like it a lot.

Vastly better than the hammers (which are ok for a single, but 5+ are really no fun)

I wasn't sure how well the press would do as its an up motion, but I get tight, give it a bit of a pop and out they come.

I got an RCBS collet puller at an auction. Love the thing!

What was his load? Powder, bullet, primer, case? If everything is per a loading manual, then he might need to check his scale, or have a gunsmith check out his rifle. More information would be helpful.
