load data for 223
I purchased some pulled projectiles for 223 and upon weighing them on my scale they weigh in at 52.5 grains. My lee load data book lists a 52 grain jacketed bullet and a 53 grain jacketed bullet. Which would I use for powder data?

I doubt there is much difference in the two shown in the Lee book. I am just too lazy to run downstairs and grab it up. Safety wise, you should use the data for the 53 gr. bullet.

Thank you. I have my book in front of me. I need to get powder and it doesn't even have the same powder listed for the 2. Any suggestion on what powder to get that would work well for this? Was thinking possibly h4895 in case I change to 55 grain in the future. I'm new to this so whatever info will help. Thanks

52 vs 55 is an almost negligible difference. There are many powders that would work well for either:
H322 H335 BLC-2 Varget H4895 is not ideal for 52gr and 55gr projectiles, typically would be better for heavier bullets. You cannot go wrong with Varget (if you can find it). H335 or BLC-2 would work well with either 52 or 55. There are many other powders that are good for that weight too. |

I'd use the 53gr data and depending on the bullet profile I may even use the 55gr data .
Powders :In my Sierra book the 52,53 and 55gr bullets all can use the same powders . I use IMR 4895 and H-335 using 55gr bullets in my AR loads . I've used others that work just fine but those are my go to powders . Those two work quite well . For accuracy I use 4895 and for higher velocity I use H-335 but they both work well for the 55gr bullet .
