LF a new scale
Currently look at this on amazon, Lyman Micro-Touch 1500 Electronic Scale 115V 7750700. My current one is not digital and kind of want one that is.

Looks good, it is 1,500 grains max, and price is reasonable. Like all electronic scales you need to let the sensor warm up, I usually wait an hour on mine.
Can not tell you much about this model but I would recommend that you use the power cord and not the batteries. (save those for an emergency or when reloading at the bench at the range.) Jim |

Huh? Let an electronic scale "warm up"? Really? I learned something new just now then.
I have (had) 2 electronic scales one cost under $25 bucks the other over $125 bucks and the instructions said nothing about a warm up. Go figure. The scale in the link looks pretty good for the bucks. My expensive one took a dump when my basement flooded back in March. Lost a ton of reloading equipment so am looking for a new good scale. Recommendations? Ins. might cover most all of the lost goods. ![]() |
