Painting pistol grips

I have a set of aluminum checkered grips that need painting.
Grips are being beadblasted now. I want to paint em some sort of blue paint (pepsi blue maybe).
What type of aerosol paint I can use that can easily be obtained in autoparts store or homedepot?

Have you considered anodizing them instead of painting?
May cost a bit more, but should last longer than a spray paint job.

Most paints that are easily bought locally won't last long.
Durability can be enhanced by baking the paint in an oven at around 300 degrees for an hour, BUT... most spray paints are NOT suitable for this and will melt into a mess.
The old standard non-spray cans of oil-based Rustoleum can be baked and makes the paint much more durable, but colors are limited.

A better, and far more durable paint is Lauer Duracoat. This is a two part epoxy that is air curing and is one of the toughest of the paint type gun finishes.
They also offer far more colors then anyone else.

While they do offer the paint in a spray can, it's not available in many colors and I suspect that it's not as durable as the two part mix which you spray on with an airbrush:

Cowtowner has the best idea: Send the grips out to be anodized. This will look and wear far better.
