Question on bedding

I have a Remington 700. I ordered a McMillan stock which just arrived. I am going to order an H & S Precision DBM. I want to do the bedding but the DBM will not be available for another month. Should I wait or can the bedding still be done without the DBM installed?

I would wait just incase the new DBM is a little defferent and you want have to carve or add to your new bedding. It should be kinda drop-in but you know how that goes.
