I have an SKB 585 in 28 gauge. Nice quality gun. I paid $1200 for mine with 30" barrels and an adjustable comb. I shoot it at 5 Stand. Sounds like a fair price if the gun is in really nice shape. Mark

Had two - 1 in 20 one in 28. Stopped shooting 28, so it went.

Excellent guns, well-made, in the same general quality and price parks as the Browning and Beretta basic field models.

Downside, they can be about 7 pounds, a little TOO heavy IMO for a field model 20 gauge.

SKB made some models for Weatherby. SKB is now out of the gun making business; however, GU in Omaha (SKB-USA), has all of the remaining parts, guns, etc.
