Ruger Blackhawk 45 colt/45 acp convertable and Ruger Only loads

I was not sure if I need to put this in the revolver or reloading forum so if it needs to be moved please move and I apologize.

I have a question. Are all New Model Ruger Blackhawk convertable 45 colt/45acp models (excluding the current lispey's run) caplable of ruger only loads? I bought a NIB 4 5/8" blued convertable a few months back and have recently gotten into reloading. I have seen the info on the Lipsey's special run that is out right now that they are not capable of the hotter load and was wondering about mine. I do not want to load any extra hot loads and get myself in trouble.

Thanks

Yes, for the .45 Colt. The Hornady Handbook of Reloading (other handbooks do so as well) has load data for Ruger and T/C loads.

My 45 is a Bisley configuration, but in 5.5". With the grip configuration of the standard Blackhawk in 4.625", you will find the recoil distracting past 1000fps. Get a good bullet, like the Missouri Bullets in Keith persuasion, and start with 8gr of Unique for a standard load. 10gr takes you to 20k, giving just over 1000 in your barrel.
