wood for grips
i know might not be the right place but its hard to find.
well i have lots of exotic hardwood for sale. cherry burl pieces, no splitting or checking at all. the typical thickness is two inches, so a single piece SAA grip may not be impossible. at the least you should be able to get a set of 2 piece saa or remington grips from each blank. most likely could get 3 to 5 sets of 1911 grip panels from each if cut right. claro walnut, never steamed so it has the full good looks to it. large 1 13/16 x 1 13/16 by 82 inch paduak piece. real nice looking. have otehrs. |
