Shooting lead with a Chrome Bore? 40 S&W
Has anyone used lead in a chrome bored pistol? Particularly I'm using a Stoeger Cougar 8040F. Was wondering if there are any drawbacks or is the chrome better than steel. Maybe there's no difference?

Not tried it. There is no reason it can't work based on the materials involved. It the bore is rough, you may have leading issues. If it's smooth, you should be fine.
