Glock 27 Can You Make It Ambidextrous ?

Hi All:
I was wondering if anyone else has this problem with the Glock. I'm left handed and the magazine button keeps rubbing my finger to the point where the skin is becoming raw. I called the company today they said only the 22 generation 4 is an ambidextrous 40 cal. The only trouble is I like my 27. HELP, does anybody you know of a good after market company that sells a lefty magazine button for my baby 27 ?
Thank you,
Skyeye2

The mag release is plastic. You can trim it/round the corner so it doesn't rub your finger. If you overdo the modification and need to replace the part a new release will probably cost a couple of bucks plus shipping.

That is what I'd do. Just round it off a bit and use the trigger finger to release the mag. I shoot left handed as well as right and I don't even mess with my Glocks mag release.

Lefty In A Righthand World

Thanks, it was a worth a shot ( no pun intended ). I'll just have to train myself to use the mag release with my left finger. As far as the raw finger goes, good idea I'll file it round on the corner and give that a try.Thank you again.
