Which bullet for 380 auto?

I decided to start reloading for my new Ruger LCP and picked up some 9mm Hornady 90gr XPT to load for 380 auto. But these bullets seem to have a rather sharp cone-head shape to them compared to the factory Remington round nose hollow points I bought with the gun. Will these Hornady XTP bullets work ok? Thanks.

The Hornady book say yes. They show a COL of 0.965 for that bullet in a 380. Make up one or two dummy rounds (no powder or primer) and try feeding them through your magazine and see if you have any problems. If you do you could sell them to someone that shoots 9 mm luger. (same bullet)

CAUTION: The following post includes loading data beyond currently published maximums for this cartridge. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Neither the writer, The Firing Line, nor the staff of TFL assume any liability for any damage or injury resulting from use of this information.

I use 90 gr GD on low mass slide 380s @1100 fps and 158 gr XTP on high mass slide 380s at 1178 fps.
