Mossberg 20ga. help?

I recently inherited a Mossberg model 500C 20ga. It has a 26" VR barrel with screw-in chokes. Serial no P485XXX. I'm wondering if current mdl. 500 barrels and accessories will fit this gun? Anyone have an idea on it's age?

I don't know about the age, I'm sure someone here can help you out, if not, e-mail Mossberg, they will look it up for you. Since it has screw-in chokes, it is probably from the '80's or later...

As far as barrels, all of the 20GA model 500 barrels are interchangable.

www.havlinsales.com has some 20GA barrels for sale under "CLOSE-OUT BARRELS"
