Mod. 1900 H&R Ejector

I'm in the process of finishing up a rebuild of an old Mod.1900 H&R. It is a large frame, 12 ga. All I need is the ejector. Numrich didn't have that part. Before I turn one on the lathe, I'd like to try finding one. Any ideas?

Start turning. If Numrich doesn't have it, most likely no one does.

Tip. You might save work by using a plain rod and welding or swaging the ejector lip onto it.

After a break, I went back out and turned one out. Round shaft .215" with an end that's .460". Pretty much got it finished except to cut the slot for the retainer pin. Sometimes there's just no easy way.
