cleaning inside brass

I've run into a situation when prepping my 223 brass. After i debur the case mouth and debur the flash hole, i end up with a lot of shavings inside each case that are stuck in side. Other than digging around with a stick or something similar, has someone found a good way of cleaning the inside out?

thanks

I don't believe that there is a need to remove the dirt or shavings from inside the brass. Unless you are adding several grains of shavings , I havn't found this to be a problem.

I use compressed air sometimes, the rest of the time I simply tap them against the bench and knock out most all of it. Load and shoot them, it is only going to happen one time unless you trim a lot more often than I do.

I would agree with Russ.

Use a can of Air Dust or a compressor, and blow out the shavings.
