Knight TK2000 shotgun and red full plastic jackets

I recently picked up a TK2000 and it is great for small game hunting and shooting clay birds. It is a blast. It adds a whole new dimension to squirrel hunting.

My only beef with it is that it uses Knights full plastic jacket in its ignition system. This would be great with a rifle or a shotgun used more for turkey hunting, but does not help (in my mind it hinders) the reloading of this shotgun for small game.

It is my understanding that they used to make it and Wolverine 209 (they use the same ignition system) so that it used #11 caps. Does anyone want to swap their old #11 system for the new full plastic jacket system? If not, do you think Knight still sells the old version. It is Saturday, so I cannot ask Knight, I will email them next week sometime.

Thanks.

I would imagine you can buy a new breech plug for the Knight. The thing is threaded into the rear of the barrel and can come out for cleaning, right?
