Hey all I am looking for a good, reliable, and economical smith to do some action work for me and a few other things.
If you all have any ideas than feel free to let me know.

Thanks.

I considered getting an action job on my GP100 when I first got it. After 1000 rounds of full house 357 the action was so slick I figured it didn't need it. You might want to put 1000 rounds through the gun before you decide on an action job for a Ruger revolver. Don't know about their autos though..

Which Ruger?
There are excellent Ruger smiths for the Blachawk/Vaquero family that don't know beans about their line of autos. (I, being a case in point. ) There are others that specalize in all autos from Smith to Ruger but do not mess with the revolvers.

We also have George down in the Smithy forum that is reasonable and knowledge in a wide range of fields. You may have to look no further than right there.
