Mostly out of curiousity: Does anyone know if a .40 Hi-Power could be converted to .357 Sig with a barrel change like some of the convertible guns? Who if anyone makes the barrel to do it? IF the barrel was available, would that be all that was needed? It sounds like an interesting gun.

Jhp147,

The Hi-Power can be converted to .357 Sig. KKM Precision www.kkmprecision.com is the only barrel manufacturer I'm aware of that makes this barrel.

I purchased a new BHP .40 Practical about a month ago just to convert it to .357 Sig. I've talked about this with Kurt Wickmann www.kwgw.com and he sees no problem with it. The only changes to the pistol needed might be a heavier recoil spring - the .40 mags should work fine.

went to KWs site... he offers the 357 Sig conversion for $250.
