I have a buddy that broke his right wrist a few years back and it gives him a little trouble when doing much shooting. He is thinking that a thumbhole stock with its straighter wrist position would be more comfortable. Anyway, my question is, who makes a good one that fits a Weatherby action? I can't remember which caliber for sure, but I think it was a .300
thanks, Bergie |

Bergie. You can also thy the Harry Lawson Company, 3328 N.ichey Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85716. Ph: (520) 326-1117.
I have several rifles by them, including one with a thumbhole stock. I believe placing Weatherby rifles in his Cochise Thumbhole is one of his specialties, and I can attest to the quality of their work. He will furnish 90% inletted stocks, I believe, and although my list is a bit old, prices run from $76.00 on up. He did have fibreglass stocks in thumbhole, but I think he dropped them. If you get RIFLE Magazine, there is usually an ad which shows a picture of the stock. Hope this helps. Paul B. |
