Can I mount a scope on a TAURUS 44Mag. with a 6 1/2 in.PORTED barrel ? If yes, what do you reccomend. Thank You. DUFF

Tim, yes you can. I'd go with a Burris or Leupold scope. I've never had a good experience with Tasco on a .44. They just aren't stron enough. And stay away from the "no-gunsmithing" mounts. They won't last on the 44 either. Have the gun drilled and tapped for a Weaver style base. George
