Looking for 1891 Mauser stock

I'm looking for an original wood stock for an 1891 Argentine Mauser. Stock can be in any usable condition. Thanks.

Try your luck at either Gun Parts Corporation (the old Numrich Arms Corp.) or at Sarco.

Either of these can be found in any edition of Shotgun News, and I am sure that there are Internet links, although I don't have any handy at this time.

If these don't provide what you need, it's time to start scrutinizing the shotgun news and gun list magazines for parts and/or donor guns.

You should get some help from the first two that I mentioned, although there are more surplus arms dealers out there. Century Arms is another, and I am sure that someone will chime in with others.

Good Luck to you.

Springfield Sporters has them -- new with handguards -- for $40

Give them a call: 724-254-2626.

They've also got converted (from long rifle) stocks and handguards for the carbines, too. I keep thinking I'm going to get one for that semi=bubbaized Cavalry Carbine I've got...

Tried springfield just now, they're no longer accepting orders of any kind
If anyone is going by there place in person anyway, could you pick me one up? I'll make it worth your time and pay shipping.
E-mail me at [email protected]

Thanks
