30-06: how much crimp?

I'm trying to improve the accuracy from my 30-06 loads (bolt action) and I'm looking at the crimp. How much is just right? I pulled a couple bullets (Speer 165gr SPBT) and noticed a very light groove around the bullet where the crimp was. Too much, not enough?

thanks,
LW

Try none - especially in a bolt gun.

Neck tension should do the trick if all's proper & a crimp will only add another thing to go wrong.

I agree - with neck resizing I find the bullet is in very tight. That's all you need on the bolt action.
