Found a site that has info on Saiga 12 ga. as well as many other Rssain weapons. Go to www.Guns.ru for photos etc. BTW the short barrel is cool looking.

Yes, the short barrel is the way to go! Did you watch the little video of exploding melons? I've got to try that.

Did you guys catch the writeup on the Saiga in this month's American Rifleman. It looks promising. I wouldn't mind owning one, but only in 12 ga. Too bad the ATF doesn't like pistol grips on shotguns.

It would be VERY nice with a well-made thumbhole stock and 18 inch barrel.
