I've learned to mostly leave them alone. They're triggers that feel like a stapler. That's how they wind up feeling for a majority of the time before they're broken in. The best triggers I've ever had done were thousands of dollars...in ammo. Shoot it and shoot it and then shoot it some more.

Now, I DO change some parts in my Glocks. So, not to sound like a hypocrite or anything, for the close friends on here that know me. However, my expectations of that "perfect" trigger won't come from a Glock (for me). But guess what? It also once did. YOU determine what you like. You know my favourite setup for a Glock trigger? Heavy trigger return spring (6lbs) from Wolff and a 10-8 performance connector (which he no longer makes). I changed the shoe gratuitously to an Apex trigger shoe, and that thing is amazing to me. I've had a lot of trigger swaps in Glocks and then some. This seems to be the best I have ever felt.

You just need to realise that at the end of the day, the design of a Glock trigger is helping to fully cock a semi-cocked striker all the way and then slipping off it to send the striker home. That changes in a Gen 5 Performance Trigger that does more of a HK VP9 / Walther-style fully cocked striker. Where the trigger press drops the sear and sends the striker home.

YMMV. Just know what your / its limitations are at the end of the day.
