When I was with the PD we used Glaser Safety Slugs to dispatch injured deer, etc that had been struck by vehicles on hard road surfaces to avoid richocets. Worked perfectly. Prior to using the Glasers, we had a rookie officer use a 40S&W duty round that ended up in someone's living room! ������
