Another Great Brian Pearce Article
On Tier 2 (23k) loads for the 45 Colt in April's Handloader Mag. Both my 45s are housed in the large frame that take 32k loads; however, I've been using a 10gr Unique (Tier 2) load under a 285gr RCBS Keith SWC since the 80s. Accurate, full penetration from any angle, and comfortable to shoot.

I use HS-6 for my Tier 2 load. But wondering on your load ... Full penetration of what ... An Alaskan Brown Bear? Or say a ground squirrel???

He is currently a favorite writer. Needed info, especially for the newer flat back Rugers.
