ML nipples ?

I see there is different nipples like stainless steel, black one and one called a hot shot. Which one do you guys like and use ?

the hot shot is good for real black powder but hang fires with sub powders. The best nipple for everything is the knight redhot.

Do you have a source for the knight red hot nipples ? I didn't find them on Track of the Wolf.

Slix-Shots nipples are the best to be had, anyhow, anywhere in a BP nipple.

Are you asking about revolver nipples or rifle nipples 'cause I have a different opinion depending on which gun you are talking about?

I've heard good things about Slix Shot and Tresos are good. I bought a Hot Shot once and it didn't last ten years.

Half to be careful when dropping a side locks hammer from full cock to 1/2 cock when Knight R/H's are screwed. Red Hots are a bit taller in height than factory nipples. My experience with. I've been using Red Hots on my 45 Hawken since the day I bought it. I found the nipple to be very reliable and easy to cap when hurried in the field.
