It is now AFI 36-2903, it used to be AFR 35-10. The old reg was more restrict. But you have to remember we were all "baby killers" back then. Now that you Know that I am familiar with the regs I will let you all know I am a 20 year vet of a 20 year vet. Both my dad and myself were USAF. I retired 21 years ago. I didn't like seeing you in uniform but I also felt it was not my place to say anything.
I also feel that if anyone does not know the current reg. should just keep their thought to themselves.

But what really pissed me off is all the negative comments on your post, from those who should be helping. This is a reloading form, we are supposed to help not tear down a new reloader. If you noticed I pointed out 3 small things that you could easily fix. And then I offered advice and reached out to help.
I totally agree...

Yes, I agree also. Thank you for bringing up what I wanted to and didn't. Some, and one in particular reminded me why I decided to not make a career of the military. Others were just nasty with reloading criticism when they could have helped.

drain smith, thank you.

7 years in the AF and another 10 and counting in another service (I got a commission).

Every time I put a uniform on I try to remind myself that better people than me have died in it in the service of our country. I ask myself if what I'm doing in that uniform does anything to discredit their sacrifice. The uniform is not something I take lightly.

In addition to the moral aspects, we're living in a day and age where service members are encouraged to take different routes to and from work, avoid what they put on social media in regards to deployments/rotations, etc. etc.. In other words, I personally ask myself if it's necessary for me to be wearing and displaying my uniform because, if it isn't, it's probably an operational risk.

I understand what you're saying and to a certain extent agree with you. I should've addressed my concerns in a PM rather than publicly.

Sorry if my post is offensive, but it sounds really "PC" to hide your military affiliation/service by not appearing in public in uniform...
