Leather Holster For 5" barrels?

Greeting Folk's;

I would like to know if either Safariland or Bianchi offer's a high ride, thumb break for a 5" barrel 629 Classic? Stipulation- It
must be all leather and black in color.

Thanks In Advance,
Ala Dan, Life Member N.R.A.

Dillon lists holsters for the 5" N frames, can't remember who makes them though, Galco maybe?

Is this a carry holster, or duty holster you're inquiring about?

Greeting's Dakota Law Dog;

Thanks for the info. This is going too be an "off duty" field holster,
used for camping-hiking-backpacking etc.

Best Wishes,

The holster Dillon sells is made by Kramer. They have two
styles one for a 4 inch "thin" barrel N Frame and one for a
5 inch full lug N Frame. They are black in color and have FBI
cant to them. They do not have thumb breaks but every
Kramer I have owned holds the gun so tight a thumb break
was not needed.

If you just have to have a thumb break (I feel I do), then the Galco F.L.E.T.C.H. is a good one. I have one for a KGP-141. They are a perfect match.

Dan,

I have a Bianchi for my five-inch 627 "N" frame revolvers; I suspect it would accommodate the 629.

Best regards -- Roy
