Need help choosing a hunting rifle
I went to the only local gun store in my town, looking for a rifle, the owner wasn't much help. His mind set was if it doesn't cost an arm and half a leg, it's trash. I had my eye on the Mossberg 100 ATR (comes with two scopes, 4-16X50mm and 6-24X60mm) for $479.99 with a bipod. There was a Maverick .308 for $320.00 that has a free floating button rifled barrel, w/3-9X40mm scope, and a Marlin XS7 .308 $359.99 w/3-9x40. The mossberg has cool accessories, but I want the most accurate for the money as want to get into distance shooting. I could buy better scopes/bipods for the maverick and marlin, I just want something affordable that is able to hit a target at 500+ meters. Is the ATR, Maverick, and Marlin XS7, birds of the same feather? Thanks in advance!!!!

Of the three, the Marlin is by far the best.
