H4831 vs. H4831sc

I shoot a 7mm mag with 160 grn accubonds. Ive shot H4831 for about four years now and been very impressed with this powder. My buddy picked me up some powder and heads while he was out of town. He called me on the way back and said he got H4831sc. The question I have is what can I look for in a differance between my orignal H4831 and this SHORT CUT stuff??

Im pretty sure its gonna be about the same but I may be wrong. Also what is the purpose for this sc powder? Thanks guys

It's the same powder, just cut into smaller pieces. The short cut makes it flow easier thru powder measures.

How do you like how those Accubonds perform on game? I'll be shooting them out of my 270WSM when I get it up and running. Also are they accurate?

Agreed! I only use H4831SC because I get more accurate throws.

Yea man I love these accubonds. They say its the hardist hitting bullet out and I belive its true. I shoot deer and hogs with them. the deer usally dont go very far if anywhere at all. and always a blood trail with a semi-well placed shot. Never had a problem with not having an exit wound. They dont mess up a lot of meat unless u hit shoulder. Hogs on the other hand are of course a tougher animal with more fat and thicker bone seems like. Ive droped almost every hog ive shot in its tracks. Everybody I hunt with or around r finaly taking my advise and buying the accubonds.

Good to hear. I already have a box of accubonds, I just need a scope and then I can start shooting.
