Load data for 45 Colt

I am looking for load data on 230 Gr HPTXR made by Hornady using Unique power this is for a 45 colt Thanks Ralph

What gun are you using? Do you want SAAMI spec 14 k psi or something hotter. 9 grains of Unique would be good standard pressure load. I'll check Load Data for +P load if you need to smoke something.

I'm thinking you may be referring to the Hornady 230gr XTP HP intended for the .45 ACP. It has a nominal diameter of .451" The 45 Colt, often referred to as the .45 "Long" Colt is usually happier with .452-454" bullets. Different .45 Colt revolvers have different tolerances for pressure so I'd like to know a bit more about your firearm and bullet before revealing my pet loads, if you don't mind.
