Introduction..
I did not see an introduction section. i will be spending most of my time in this section, but will frequent the rifle and revolver sections.
I come from thehighroad.org and thehighroad.us. I have been an admin on other gun forums. I shoot as much as I can, and live in Arkansas. Greetings fellow hand loaders. Looking forward to have some good conversations.. |

Welcome Eb1 glad to see you made it here. You will find many of us on other forums including THR, but I consider this one home and you will find a lot of good people here with good advice.
Again welcome. Jim |

Aloha Eb1 ! I thought no intro forum odd too ! You will get to know some folks , I guess the plus side would be that you can read their posts and decide if they're anybody you want to talk too ! Welcome !

Welcome to the asylum! And yes, I'm mentally unsound. Just got in from casting boolits in the 100 degree heat! Would a sane person do that?

In my mind, yes. It is very hot here in LR, AR today. I have a few things to get accomplished. I am working my way to get the 5000 mile maintenance completed on my 2010 Harley Street Bob today.
The list isn't long, but some of the tasks take a few time to get correct if they are out of whack. Meanwhile I have been removing primers and belling .44 Magnum brass. I am loading up some of my Trail Boss plinkers. I use a Lee 1.6cc dipper for an average of 7.0 grains. I have some full loading of 2400 with an 240 grain XTP waiting, and some Missouri Bullet Company 240 LSWC bevel based boolits loaded with Unique from 10.0 to 11.0 in .5 grain increments. I heard from Beartooth today that my .431 GC 250 grain WFN will be shipping Monday. Cannot wait to get these hammers. I am praying every night that I get good accuracy with the componnts I have on hand. Which are Win brass/CCI 300/an Alliant 2400 powder. This is a GC flat based bullet with a .340 meplate. Wow.. I just makes me smile to think about having a handgun with 6 rounds of that power. I have a feeling though that the way my Ruger SBH 5.5" barrel shoots the 270 grain Speer GDFN, I should have ordered the 300 grain WFN GC in .431. We will see though. |

Recipes sound good to me. I'll be casting a Keith style 255 for my 45 Colt so the 250 sounds perfect for the 44.
