I ordered my last bullets from Missouri Bullet (couple of weeks ago). I ordered 357, 45, and 9mm. Great prices, and super fast shipping. My next bullet order is definitely going to Missouri bullet company.

Hard DEWC's

We happily make them 18 BHN upon request, Mr. Mortimer. All it takes is a request. We run with two kinds of alloy - either a 2/6 or a 1.3/4 to get to the desired hardness. Requests for the hard 148's is spotty, to say the least, so we don't list them as a standard item.

I honestly do think that we will stick with the Magma Engineering mould sets. I know that Mr. Smith makes an outstanding line of moulds and we could purchase sets of them and pay Magma to modify them for use in their equipment but there are others who make those wide-meplat bullets and we can hardly keep up with our standard line as it is. So everybody has a niche, I guess.

Thanks for correcting the post.

Brad

Thanks, I will take you up on the hard cast DEWC as that is my primary load for .38/.357 and really like penetration. You have a good thing going procuct wise, customer service wise and price wise. You have explained your reason for your production and it makes sense so you will nolt hear a word about meplats and your fine company again.

Wide Meplat

If we do get into the wide-meplat bullet business (you know our fancy for cutsie bullet names), the first one we're going to do will be the ".45 Mortimer Double-Wide."

:-)

Fortunately and unfortunately that would be an apt name. I am a .45 Colt devotee and...But I will for sure get the 148 grain DEWC hard cast once I get my next check. Looking forward to it. P.S. I'm a baseball fan and my dad's family is from Missouri so I follow the Cards very closely.
