HK 45
Okay ever since HK has come out with the HK 45 I have wanted one. I know they are a bit pricey, but does anyone know where I can buy one around 800 bucks? I saw one on bud's. But its 900 something. I don't care if its full size or compact. Thx. And if anyone here owns one share your experience and pics of the gun.

Looks like have we a guy that appreciates the finer things in life. Indeed, the
H & K .45 is sweet. It will never fail to operate and keeps on going no matter what you do to it. I would recommend the USP Compact over the full sized gun as it makes it a lost easier to carry and conceal. Bought mine way when $600 was top dollar for a polymer gun so I have no idea what the prices are today. I'm a 1911 toter but substitute the H & K when the environment gets nasty.

I think he's talking about the HK45, not the USP45, both of which are pretty nice guns.
Best I could find online was an HK45 compact in stock at BudsGuns for around 840. Have you also tried looking locally? |

You can try Florida Gun Exchange. I noticed these guys at my local gun show in West Palm Beach. I've been looking for a .41 mag and can't find one except on Bud's like you.
So I have a plan I hope works. I'm going to ask FGE to bring a .41 mag to the next gun show in WPB since they are over 3 hours away, near Jacksonville. It'll save on FFL exchange $ and they may take a pistol in trade. Bud's gave me a trade in price I'll except but again the shipping price.....ugh. Of course you'll need your CCW to pick up at Gun show, unless you can work something out prior. And being in Lake City it'd be a hike to their shop. Maybe they go to a Gun show near you. Good luck and let us know how it works out. www.floridagunexchange.com Last edited by crghss; February 17, 2010 at 09:34 AM. |

Try CDNN. By far they have the best HK prices I've seen for over a year now.
If you're patient and keep an eye out you can certainly find them used. I paid 785 shipped for a like new in box 4 weeks ago. Been shooting it and smiling large ever since. |

I got mine from CDN right before the Obamanation happened. Prices no doubt a bit higher, but call them. They'll be 100-150 less than most stores.
