Browning A-5
Picked up a Browning A-5. Having problems with ejection. Gun fires, but wont cycle. Is the problem with the bronze friction piece and the compression rings set up wrong or would the locking block not disengaging?

(1)With an empty chamber can you pull the trigger and cycle the action by hand?
(2)Is the bolt/barrel coming back any at all when fired? |

Put the cone ring against the receiver and the spring on top of it, then the friction ring, then the barrel. You are shooting target loads, you need minimal recoil damping.
