Herter's shellholder adapter question

My local shop ordered me a shellholder adapter for my Herter's press. I think it is one of the RCBS shellholder adapters. Will this only hold RCBS shellholders or can I use some of the lee shellholders I already have?

Shell holders should be a universal fit. I've heard from some folks who own more than one brand that some of the others have a closer fit & tolerance than Lee, but they should all fit in your adapter.

Lee Shell Holders

I have a vague memory that Lee has made two types of shell holders. One was the industry standard but the other wasn't. So I'm not so sure that all Lee shell holders will work in your adapter.

RCBS makes this? Odd. I thought that CH did that.

I did some research and lee makes shell holders for their autoprimer and they make a separate set as universal shell holders. I have the ones in the red box that I think are only for the autoprimer. I may be wrong.

Lee shell holders

I think the shell holders in the red box are for the auto primer. My Lee universal shell holders are in a green box. There is a difference between the two.
