I'm looking for a recommendation for a clean powder and a load that will be subsonic for a suppressor.

Don't you have a load manual ? Because for you to try and do it without one is not really what you want to do. You should have at least two sources. You can go to the powder malefactor's web sights and they all have data available for your use.
