Just heard from Larry Seecamp again...

..and he said he took a look at the target I sent him (into which I had fired all Gold Dots), and there was no evidence of "keyholing." So, from now on, it'll be .32ACP Gold Dots for my new Seecamp. (Maybe for my other .32's also! G-D's are a good looking round.)
In addition to not keyholing, the Gold Dots seem to be quite a bit more accurate in my pistol. The Gold Dots are a little more expensive, however a lot of shooters here seem to prefer them to other brands. I was initially a little worried because the Gold Dots are obviously a little shorter than the Silvertips. But, if anything, they chamber more slickly.
(I don't know why he didn't call some of you back. It just HAS to be my charming personality that makes him want to call me.

I've gotten to be a Gold Dot fan too. Carry them in my Autauga and P-32 now. Seecamp should modify their owners manual to include all the other types of ammo that it will take these days. Probably lots of folks who think their Seecamp will blow up if they use anything but Silvertips given all the warnings in the Seecamp manual and in the box.

By the way, I've been trading e-mails with R.J. Hedley. I asked him if the Guardian holster would fit my Autauga and he said he makes an Autauga holster, fitted to the actual gun. It is just not advertised on his site. I mailed him a money order on Tuesday.
He said he is making my holster right now & will take pictures of it to put on his site under "Miscellaneous".

I guess I'll have to get a P-32 front pocket holster from him next to go with my P-32 back pocket holster.

Next time you talk to Gaston Glock, ask him when he's gonna make a .32...

RJ makes a fine holster. Did you buy a back pocket model for your Autauga?
How about the little "pocket Mag pouch"?
He's been telling me that I need an Autauga. (I think he's right!

Since they're not being produced any more, I think I'd better get one while I still can!

I got my new Seecamp from a fellow who owns a gun shop in California. Seecamps were declared illegal the first of the year in California. (The dolts!) I used "Auction Arms" and purchased a NIB Seecamp still sealed in the factory box. It was last November (2000) and the presidential election was going on and most people weren't paying attention to a new Seecamp which was for sale at auction. My very low bid was accepted and I got a great price (Far below $500.00!) and I only had to wait for the shipping.
I feel that I was very lucky! Low price, NIB Seecamp, and no wait!

Got the back pocket holster. The Autauga/Guardian are just too heavy for me for front pocket. Will post on the TFL General Handgun forum when I get it to let other Autauga owners know that he makes holsters for it. I'll keep checking RJ Hedley's page to see when he adds a picture of my holster to his site.
Decided to pass on the mag pouch. Looks pretty nice but I'd probably never use it. If I ever start carrying a spare magazine though, I'll need one to keep lint/dust out of the magazine.
You do need an Autauga to round out your collection. A shop here in town has one for $265. I talked to the owner of Autauga the other day, nice guy. They fully warranty the guns and have plenty of spare parts.

You are exactly right about the weight problem. My NAA Guardian feels much lighter in my Hedley back pocket holster. Although weight isn't really a problem with my Seecamp, I also chose a Hedley back pocket model for that one also. The reason is that the holster works so well. The anti-print panel "spreads" when you reach for your pistol and the holster STAYS in your back pocket. If you whipped out your pistol and the holster came out too, the bad guy would laugh and you would get hurt.
I carry my Guardian quite a bit because it can handle Glasers. I know some people don't like them, however I think most of the pre-fragmented rounds are good performers.
