Mossberg barrel questions

Will the 590 barrel w/bayonet lug fit the 500 receiver? They are both 20" barrels.

Unfortunately, the answer is no. The 590's use an endcap that screws onto the swab thru type magazine tube. The 500's utalize a bolt that screw into the magazine tube. If you are trying to convert a 500 into a 590 see if Mossberg will sell you the barrel, magazine, and trigger assemblies.
