I'm in the process of replacing the Accro sights on my Colt Python. I'd like to install the Elliason target set-up on my Python, but for the life of me, I can't locate ANY parts distributor who can supply a patridge front sight for the gun. I have one of the newer models, and the front sight requires ONE pin to retain it on the barrel, as opposed to the older variations of the "two-pin" front sight. I just can't stand looking at the red ramp sight with the Elliason rear. I've already tried Gun Parts Corp., Jack First, Pittsburgh Handgun Headquarters, and the Colt Custom Shop to name a few. Any help appreciated...

Don, try your local smith. If he can't fabricate one for you, e-mail me. George

don leo, I agree with your opinion of the red ramps. I had a local smith make one up for me. Very modestly priced job. Almost anyone should be able to do one for you. Good Luck... Joe
