Marlin rimfire question???
I just picked up a nice little Marlin model 700 semi-auto carbine that was just too cheap to pass up at the local gunshow today. It is a magazine fed, standard looking Marlin .22 . The back portion of the trigger guard is cracked around the rear screw and I would like to replace this part rather than keep looking at the epoxy job that is currently holding it together.
I can't find any references to this carbine on the web or on Marlin's website. Does anyone know if the parts from the 700 are interchagable with parts from either the 70, 795, or 7000 series rifles? I can order parts for any of those through Brownell's near cost price but they don't have any listings for 700s. Thanks, Doc

Check out Numrich first. They may have the parts you're looking for.
