EAA Shotgun Safeties

Okay... Thinking of getting one of their inexpensive side-by-sides. If I get it, I don't want the darn safety always turning itself "on" every time I load the darn thing. Can that be disabled?

Or, for that matter, can anyone recommend a decent side-by-side 12 gauge that'll work?

I would think that any automatic safety could be disabled. Seems like there was a thread on that here just a couple of days ago. http://www.thefiringline.com/forums/...readid=138653. George

Yes, you can disable the "automatic" safety. There's simply a connecting lever in the action. Go to

http://www.marauder13.homestead.com/irons.html

and there's a pretty good explaination there under both the Stoeger and the EAA Baikal tune-up procedures.
